Muy controvertida, muy excéntrica, muy criticada y a la vez muy seguida. Lady Gaga ha sido una influencia para la música bastante grande. Reconozco que al principio su música no me agradaba, pues sus canciones eran dirigidas al dinero, a la fama, al poder, a la riqueza, y no encontraba un valor humano en sus canciones.
Me sorprendí con su último álbum "Born This Way". La profundidad de las letras de sus canciones me fué bastante llamativa. Se centra en cosas como No te escondas en el arrepentimiento, sólo ámate a ti mismo y listo.
En una sociedad donde la apariencia física se ha puesto en primer plano, mucha gente tiende a la depresión, a la baja autoestima y al no valorarse a sí misma. Este tipo de música motiva a los jóvenes que se sienten marginados a ser ellos mismos, que lo que es importante es la persona que cada uno sea, los valores que cultive, y lo que dé a la sociedad. No importa lo que la gente diga, cada uno es como es, y eso a nadie le debe importar.
